Listeria: CDC Warns the Public to Avoid Raw Milk Products

A 2014 listeria that resulted in at least one fatality has been traced back to an organic farm in Pennsylvania, the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention has confirmed. The CDC reported that Miller’s Organic Farm had provided samples of raw milk that tested positive for listeria bacteria.
