Mass shooter James Holmes transferred after getting assaulted in prison

James Holmes, the orange-haired psychopath who shot up a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado in 2012, killing 12 people and wounding 70 others, has been moved to a new prison following an assault by a fellow inmate last fall.
Holmes, who is serving multiple life sentences for the multiple murders he committed, was being kept in isolation from other inmates at the Colorado State Penitentiary in Canon City, when a prison staff member accidentally opened a gate that exposed Holmes to the attentions of his fellow convicts.
