Siri Is Ill-Equipped To Help In Times Of Crisis

Last January, Apple enhanced Siri and Apple Maps' search results for "abortion" to fix the flaw that would later put attention to the stigma on the subject. Now, a study found that smartphone personal assistants are ill-equipped to respond in times of crisis. Siri and similar digital assistants are not helpful if the user is feeling suicidal, being abused or raped.
