National Sunflower Seed Recall Affects 100 Snack Products

As if recalled fruits and veggies weren’t enough drama for the week, another huge recall now affects snack products that contain or may have come in contact with Listeria contaminated sunflower seeds.
About 100 products are being recalled, affecting a large number of brands and grocery chains, including Planters Sunflower Kernels and trail mixes and trail mix bars sold at Walmart, Meijer, Top, Hy-Vee and Publix. Even a Trader Joe’s salad is affected, as it contains potentially contaminated seeds. And recall statements have been issued by TreeHouse FoodsSunOpta and Kroger, as well as other brands
