The New Craze: Dukan Diet

We've all done it before.... Diet diet diet. It's so easy to fall off the wagon only to half-ass hop back on it again. There's numerous diets and diet supplements out there these days that just doesn't seem to work the right way. However, for future Princess Kate Middleton, the Dukan diet seems to be her latest craze before the big day arrives.

Pierre Dukan, a French Dr. has come out with a new dieting program called the Dukan diet, people say it's similar to the Atkin's diet. Just like any other diet or diet supplement the Dukan diet promises no added hunger, absolutely no calorie counting and instant weight loss. Well wouldn't that be nice if it were true? I don't think any of us would have dieting worries again!

The Dukan diet is that of a very high protein diet just like the Atkin's. This diet is said to be broken up into four different phases: First phase is eating plenty of non-fatty, high protein rich foods, lean cured meat, oat bran, with lots and lots of water. Can never get enough of that water when you're dieting. The second phase is when vegetables is introduced. During the third phase you are allowed to eat fruit, bread, cheese and even pasta (but only in moderation). Finally the fourth and last phase is eating anything you want for six days then having one strict day back to day one.

And that my friends is what the Dukan diet is!
