St. Patrick's Day is also known as the Feast of St. Patrick, it is a very cultural and religious holiday that is celebrated on March 17th each year! Did you know that St. Patrick is the most commonly recognized of the patron of Saints in Ireland?!
The Irish holiday is not only celebrated in Ireland, it is common around the world! Most of the St. Patrick's Day celebrations include parades, festivals, wearing green, drinking green beer and many other Irish traditions. The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland as well as the celebration of the heritage and culture of Irish people! Even because of this the restrictions of eating and drinking are lifted for the day.
