It's confirmed, Samsung will be unleashing the new Galaxy Note at the end of this month. The South Korean company told Reuters that it's debuting the smartphone during an event on August 29.
"We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29," a Samsung spokesman told Reuters today.
CNET reported yesterday that the highly anticipated mobile device was most likely scheduled to debut in the near future, with predictions that the company might be unveiling a tablet also. There's even chatter of a tablet-smartphone hybrid in Samsung's second world version of the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note II.
It's important to note that the August 29 date is just before predictions for the release of Apple's new iPhone, which is rumored to be coming out as soon as September. Geez, can this rivalry get any more heated?
